Alex Noble’s work is as broad in practice as it is in scope across a multitude of areas in the creative industries. Establishing himself as an accomplished artist and fashion designer he has collaborated with everyone from MTV, Cirque Du Soleil, Diesel to Redbull.
Noble’s fashion career began in the music industry and to this day it is a continued relationship. He was first picked up by the likes of Nicola Formichetti for VOGUE and Dazed & Confused, which propelled him to work with mega stars like Lady Gaga and Florence Welch and for super brands like Thierry Mugler and Diesel creating couture pieces for stage, music videos and advertising campaigns. The natural progression was for Alex to produce three collections for London fashion Week and a limited edition line for Selfridges.
His strong visual aesthetic and ability to work in 2d and 3d have seen him invited to illustrate fashion stories and cover imagery for varied publications and exhibit internationally. Noble curated the culture hub Dalston Superstore for two years and continues to creatively direct and graphic design for art, film and music projects. My inspirations are vast, I think I have a naturally subversive aesthetic and lean towards oddities and tragedies, subversive beauty and notions of existence. I’m massively influenced by film and literature and notions of humanity that I pick up from them.
